Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for doubling the amount of road construction in the country. He stated this in his address to the Federal Assembly, which transmits the channel "Russia 24".
"For business development, to accommodate new industries need skilled areas and transport infrastructure," he said and added that the subjects of the Federation must come to grips with bringing order to the regional and local roads.
"This introduces additional sources of regional road funds. And in the whole country, we should aim to double the amount of road construction", - said Putin.
